Hey there! I'm still on vacation at Çeşme. I really don't remember the last time I had this much fun. My favorite part of the day is when me and my friends go to the little island 800 meters away from the shore. We swim there together and climb on the island first. Even though climbing on the sharp rocks with bare feet is really hurtful we don't really care. After finding the perfect place to get on the island, we walk all the way around the island and explore our surroundings. Yesterday we found a bat nest between the rocks. Today we found 2 bird nests. After the tour around the island is done, we sit on flat rocks and search for sea urchins. When we find one, we place it in our palms. It's such a funny feeling, the sea urchin tries to stick on our hands and it feels ticklish. We spend at least 4 hours of the day in the sea. It's quite tiring however the unforgettable memories are worth it.

Last night there was a full moon. The view at the beach was breathtaking but I've only got the images of the moon, sorry :(
btw: the image on the top is the island I'm talking about

my biggest fear of all time

Oh boy, the things I did to get this close to this tiny fella... I still can't believe I had the guts.

relaxation

Hey there! I'm having the time of my life right now. I'm at my grandmother's summerhouse at Çeşme. Çeşme is located at the Aegean part of Turkey, it's a heavenly holiday area. I've been here since the 16th of July and I won't be going back to Istanbul until the end of the first week of august.
Anyway life is great over here, it's so simple. The nature is so pure, so untouched. I go swimming first thing in the morning. Even though it's really hot over here, the sea is really cool. I can feel the steam coming over my head when I jump in the water. The day passes quickly, it's the nights that I love.
I've never seen so many stars before. They are like colorful candy particles on a chocolate covered donut. At nights me and my friends go to the beach, watch the stars and the flickering lights of the houses at the other side of the bay. The small talk is really entertaining. I love the way none of us have real worries at all, during summer at least.
Everything is great, except one thing, this place is full of frogs and insects. I wasn't irritated by frogs when I was little. In the previous years when I came to Çeşme, me and my two other friends used to capture frogs, put them in a water bowl, add some grass and pretend we were preparing frog soups. I don't know what made me become so irritated by frogs. I guess now they are getting even with me, taking the revenge of the frogs me and my friends tortured, well, kind of. The thing about insects is that they are everywhere. I see some kind of 6-or-more-legged-beast anywhere I turn. I'm not scared of them but I hate seeing one on my towel when I get back from swimming.
I've been talking too much again haven't I? Well that's all for today. Enjoy the photos I just took. Have a nice holiday y'all!

i've never felt like 'this' before

this thing, is in my chest
i have no idea what it is
i feel flames
my heart is burning
it's not good but i'm not sure if it's any bad either
i've never been so tense before

i got so much to think about
but this is not a significant concern at all
it might be a puberty crisis
it might be a shock
or maybe i just don't want to believe it happened
i can't seem to understand
the reason why it keeps me away from the real pain
why can i not think of such a loss
and feel this stupid thing

happiness is a warm gun

I had a marvellous weekend. Dad and I went to Ankara for my Dad's cousin's wedding. The wedding was excellent; my whole extended family was there. All of us live in 3 different cities so it's really hard for us to get together. I hadn't seen most of them for months and the whole family getting together made me realize that I missed them a lot. The wedding was fun, all of the family danced all night. We even did the twist dance together. Dad and my aunt got a bit tipsy, it was so entertaining to watch them. The next morning we all had brunch together. I might (and I most probably will) sound cheesy but I absolutely love being a huge family and I will never forget the past weekend...
