dummy

Hey there! I just ruined my day, all by myself. I had taken great pictures today and when I was importing them to my laptop I accidentally deleted them. In addition the pictures I was going to use in my photography project was in that memory card. I'm such a dummy. So sorry, I've got nothing new today, nothing but my current play list...

go shorty it's your birthday

Hey there! Today's my birthday! I've had a wonderful day. I love birthdays, in my opinion they are the most important days of someones life, there is nothing more significant than the celebration of life and being together. Birthdays should be all celebrated with joy and love.
Birthdays were like an obsession for me when I was younger. When I was at kindergarten we used to celebrate everyone's birthdays at school and I always envied the birthday kid. Sometimes my jealousy would go beyond the limit and I would get frustrated. I would go home and ask my parents why it's their birthday instead of mine (a bit selfish, isn't it?). I wanted it to be my birthday every day. (please please please don't think I'm paranoid) Not because of the gifts (sincerely), I was just enchanted by the atmosphere around me. I loved it when people hugged me and kissed me. (I was the loving-kind (I still am), I was addicted to expressing love, I said "I love you" to my loved ones at every chance I got and I hugged them and kissed them all the time, I still do)
Now I still love birthdays but I'm aware of the fact that it can't be my birthday every day. Anyway today was amazing, I realized that I love my friends and family SO much. The weather was delightful, a perfect spring day. The sun was shining, not a single cloud in the sky. During photography lesson I decided to sit in front of the open window. The gardeners were cutting the lawn and you could smell the scent of the freshly cut grass from the classrooms. Isn't it just perfect? I was listening to Bittersweet Symphony then and that atmosphere just took me away. I started daydreaming and thinking. That was when I realized that, then I was truly happy. I don't know why, it might be a happiness-rush. I could feel the positive energy inside me, right inside my chest. I felt as if someone was shaking me, like an impatient neighbour rapidly knocking the door. I felt my soul inside my body, hitting every border to get out and be free, to get out and dance all around. I would have done it if the bell didn't rang.
Now, I don't want this day to end but I have to leave the stage for the other ones... One last thing: right now I'm really happy to be alive and to be young and energetic. I'm glad I was born, thanks mom thanks dad I love you both.
xoxo

movie night

I had a pleasant day: I met with one of my best friends on the Asian side, gossiped and had an amazing afternoon with my beloved buddy Lucky. The afternoon was the best part. I made myself a small pizza while listening to Valentino- Diane Birch and sat in front of the TV to watch P.S. I Love You for the first time. The movie was amazing, one of the best romance movies I've ever seen. I've been looking forward to a day like this for a long time, I suggest you have one yourself.

smiley faces :)

I'm so happy right now I can't stop smiling. Last night I had a surprise birthday party. (my birthday is 9 days away but I don't mind) I learned that my 2 best friends had organized it for me. It was amazing, I had so much fun. My party last year was a disgrace, chaotic. Anyway, last night was unforgettable, I haven't had this much fun for sooo long. So this post is for the ones who were there last night and those who couldn't come. I love you all guys, thanks for the wonderful memory!

self portrait-y

Hey there! Sorry for not writing for the past few days, it has been more than a week actually... Anyway I've been really busy; all those homework, exams, drama etc. I'm SO glad spring is on the way. Spring means love. Not like "love" love but love for everything; cats, dogs, birds, nature, sunshine, cars, laptops, books, bugs, cows, jeans, t-shirts, bras, tables, chairs, carpets, candles, forks, spoons, olives, eggs, meatballs, strawberries, lipsticks, exams, school, friends, family... ANYTHING that you can dream of. I'm feeling optimistic, that's pretty evident isn't it? I just love everything and I love being loved... Blame it on spring. I feel like a bud that is rushing to open up its petals to a whole new world; slowly discovering its surroundings with amazement, the bees, the birds, the frogs, the endless blue sky and most importantly the joyous smiling sun.

I'm feeling self portrait-y tonight. Here are the pics just I took. I was inspired by the Mavi Jeans commercials, hope you like them!

Sorry for not writing anything the past days, I was just not in the mood. Now I'm at dad's, I'll be staying here for the week. By the way, my new addiction: Nouvelle Vague. I knew their song In a Manner of Speaking and today, after I was done with almost all of the homework I got, I decided to check out their other songs. I-LOVED-THEM-ALL! I've been addicted to them ever since I downloaded them, that's like 4-5 hours. I strongly advice you to listen them all. My favorite music groups are Koop and Nouvelle Vague from now on. For more info about Nouvelle Vague click here.
